About

Michelle D Seymore LLC was founded in 2012 with a single mission: to be the most successful, innovative, and groundbreaking consulting agency in the Twin Cities. Michelle D Seymore focuses her efforts toward equity by reducing disparities in government-mandated services, including Child Protection. Seymore started her career in child protection case management. In Case Management, Michelle focused her efforts on creating better outcomes for families experiencing the child welfare system; and reducing disparities, including the disproportionate number of children of color in out-of-home placement. As a Human Services Manager for Ramsey County Child Protection, she remains committed to identifying systemic barriers and discriminatory policies impacting families. Additionally, through a collaboration with the University of MN and the Child Welfare Training Academy, Seymore writes curriculum and trains child welfare professionals in compliance with the governing MN statutes; and provides training, consulting, and professional development through her LLC, Michelle D Seymore Consulting. With over 20 years of child protection experience, she remains passionate and committed to better outcomes for families of color.

What I Specialize In

Services

I recognize the legacy of slavery and the enslavement of African people whose forced labor resulted in economic progress and development in the United States. Forced servitude and unpaid work of people of color, specifically enslaved Africans on this land, contributed to every industry.
