Create safe space for brave conversation.
TRAINING AND CONSULTATION
Training and consultation services are tailored to the audience and desired agency outcomes. Each curriculum includes the impact of moral injury on organizations and participants, described as the injury sustained when an individual experiences a transgression in one's moral code. Facilitators are committed to anti-oppression work and allow for brave discussion in spaces traditionally limiting safety to dominant culture.
WORKFORCE RETENTION AND DEVELOPMENT
Agencies providing services to marginalized communities have continuously struggled with how to increase desired outcomes for the community. Social service jobs have above-average turnover rates, high disparities in outcomes, and a disproportionate representation of families of color. Discovering how all three are connected and contributing to each other is the only way to achieve equitable outcomes. To even start this work, organizations will need to provide safe spaces for brave conversation and representation from the workforce and other stakeholders, including community members in decision-making roles.
